Empower People Through Occupational Therapy
The GW Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is designed for applicants without a license in occupational therapy (OT) and who want to become occupational therapists. GW OTD graduates will use leadership skills to demonstrate a commitment to the following:
- Delivering evidence-informed occupational therapy with a global reach
- Advocating for the profession
- Ensuring occupational justice and inclusive engagement in society
- Influencing diversity in occupational therapy
The OTD program is hybrid and full-time for eight semesters and the foundational knowledge and leadership skills gained will empower people and communities across the lifespan and promote full inclusivity.
