Washington D.C., June 27, 2022 – The Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Doctoral program celebrated the first Admitted Student Day event for the inaugural class on Saturday, June 25. The brand-new space on the Foggy Bottom campus in the Watergate Complex was seen for the first time by students that were able to attend! Faculty and staff members celebrated the new students by providing an opportunity to connect, eat, get GW goodies, and win prizes!

The renovated space includes two student lounges, decorated with inspiring artwork and photography, for all to collaborate in, play games, and relax between classes. Instruction will take place in state of the art classrooms and labs to put work into practice. The "Activities of Daily Living" space includes a living area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. The space will continuously improve with more furniture and decorations prior to the start of the program.

The hybrid program will be on-campus one week per month for experiential learning in a variety of settings but students will have access to enjoy the space freely.
